Privacy policy

This policy explains what information desertrosehost.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. “We” means Desert Rose Retreat, 1950 W. William Sears Dr., Eloy, AZ 85131. Questions go to stay@desertrosehost.com.

What we collect

When you send an inquiry. Your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us: phone number, group size, dates, what you’re planning, and your message. We use it only to answer you and plan your stay.

When you sign in with Google (optional). Your name, email address, profile photo, and Google account ID. We use them to recognize you when you return and to show your account menu. People on our admin list also use sign-in to manage the site. We never see your Google password, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

When you browse. The page you viewed, the site that sent you here, your country, your device type (phone, tablet, or computer), and any campaign tags in the link. Each visitor is counted with an anonymous code that changes every day, so we can count visits without following anyone over time. We do not store your IP address, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.

When you click a booking link. We count clicks on our Airbnb buttons so we know which pages help guests book.

Cookies

We set a cookie only if you sign in: one that keeps you signed in, and a small flag that tells the page to show your account menu. Both are removed when you sign out. If you use Google sign-in, Google may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our data and photos.
• Google provides sign-in if you choose to use it.
• Airbnb handles bookings and payments when you follow our Airbnb links. Its own terms and privacy policy apply there.
• Our hosts and managers read your inquiry so they can reply.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept as long as we need them to correspond with you and keep records of bookings. Sign-in accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them. Visit statistics contain nothing that identifies you.

Your choices

You can browse the whole site without signing in or giving us anything. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email stay@desertrosehost.com and we will take care of it promptly.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning stays and events. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
