Executive Chef · Plate and Palate

Chef Stephan Maywalt has spent nearly two decades running kitchens in Arizona and beyond. Most recently he was culinary manager and executive chef at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort in Eloy, responsible for the whole food program: menus, private events, the bistro and a food truck. Before that he was executive sous chef at Robson Ranch Grill, led a scratch-cooking college dining program, and spent ten years cooking for the residents of a retirement community, planning menus around their tastes and nutritional needs.

He cooks American comfort food, Italian classics and Mediterranean dishes, with gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy-free options. Through Plate and Palate he also makes chef-prepared meals for pickup and delivery in Eloy, Casa Grande and Arizona City. He was named a 2026 Marquis Who’s Who honored listee.
